Though it be a dream
Hope not left to side
Wishing that I might
Possibilities abide
Just close enough to reach
Nearest there in sight
Wishes that exist
Remain vigilant a lament
Each wish to one day
Become
... The dream it began
... The thought materialized
... The site at the apex
... The might it took
Practice patience
Willing it true
A gaze upward
To the nether
Silent whispers spoken
I wish a wish that soars
Above these words
Caught in the wind
Planted on the heart
Of the universe
That just this once
The wish I speak
Will be heard
